Picnic en Blanc was event held by a local Singaporean church. In response to the various Western elements present in the event: the event was adapted from the global dining event Dîner en Blanc, while the name is partly in French (en Blanc meaning 'in White'), the visuals of the invite were decidedly local, in an attempt to fix the event within the local context.
